  • When an agency calls for helicopter support, those agency personnel working with the aircraft should all be on the same page and be able to work with their counterparts from another area or agency.
• Aircraft Ownership – Our primary long-term goal is to have an aircraft that is owned directly by either NNAS, or one of our public agency partners. Why?
  • Operational Cost is cut in half, or MORE, by owning an aircraft rather than renting it from a commercial entity. This is due in part to not needing a ‘profit margin’.
  • Ability to operate a helicopter under Public Use Rules.
